Braces are appliances that can help correct crowded or crooked teeth or an uneven bite.  Individuals with cosmetic concerns may opt for less visible braces.
There are braces that blend with tooth color and in some cases,  treatment may be done without using braces at all, by using a series of clear plastic removable mouthpieces – like aligners.

 

Trivia:

  • In the middle ages, people believed that dogs teeth boiled in wine made an excellent mouth rinse for teeth decay prevention.
  • Teeth are the hardest substance in the human body.
